Office of University Communications
The Office of University Communications serves as the University’s marketing and information office for members of the media, the campus and the community. We produce human-interest stories on various print and electronic platforms and maintain the University’s brand and logos through internal and external marketing campaigns. We provide photography and videography of University events and people.
University Communications is located in the Hertzog Building on Wiggins Road, south of the University Library.
The University Communications editorial staff produces a wide range of content for the campus and community audiences. We publish UTEP Magazine three times a year for UTEP alumni and friends, a weekly e-newsletter for the campus community, and regular web stories about University news, events and people for the community at large. ›› Learn more
The web development team designs and maintains the University Communications website, as well as the UTEP homepage and News@UTEP, the official news feed of The University of Texas at El Paso. Photography services provides UTEP's commercial photography offering a full range of photo services in support of the university's communication marketing and event promotion efforts. Photographers produce high quality print and digital images and videos that appear in UTEP Magazine, on the UTEP webpages and on UTEP’s social media platforms. ›› Learn more
The graphic design team creates innovative and eye-catching designs and marketing material for printed publications, billboards, electronic media as well as other promotions. The graphic designers ensure that University logos and brands are used according to UTEP standards and enhance the overall marketing message of the University. ›› Learn more

UTEP Graphic Identity Guide
The UTEP Graphic Identity Guide is now available online. The publication sets guidelines for the use of the University's logos, name, colors, seals and other brand elements. It also includes Web and electronic media guidelines and offers tips for designing brochures, advertisements and other UTEP merchandise.
